Farmer’s Markets

Coastal Discovery Museum Farmer’s Market

When: Tuesdays

Time: 9 am – 1 pm

What: produce, meat, prepared foods

Also: Featured at this farmer’s market – knife sharpening! Bring your knives to be sharpened while you shop.

 

Farmer’s Market at the Shops at Sea Pines Center

When: Tuesdays

Time: 10 am – 2 pm

What: produce, kettle corn, gourmet cheese, homemade goods, crafts

Also: Make it a lunch affair and grab a pulled pork sandwich, or stay to have a book signed by a local author.

Festivals

HarbourFest at Shelter Cove

When: Memorial Day through Labor Day

Time: 6:00 pm – 9:15 pm
What: For 33 years, Shelter Cove has been home to HarbourFest, which culminates each night in a fun firework show. Come to enjoy live entertainment for kids and adults.

Fun

Gullah Museum Family Fun Day

When: July 2

Time: 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
What: Enjoy food, vendors, bounce houses, games, face painting and much more, all while getting a chance to learn about an important culture in American history.

Party in the Park

When: Thursdays in June and July

Time: 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm
What: In Lowcountry Celebration Park, your family can enjoy food and drinks with live music and kids activities, such as a bounce house.

Also: A Maker’s Fair means you can do a little shopping while you are there too.
