There’s a $10 participation fee, with proceeds going to local pet rescue charities. Judges will score human and canine costumes on creativity and originality, so bring your A-game!
Halloween Savannah Bar Crawls
You’ve got your choice of a few different bar crawls to participate in this Halloween season over in nearby Savannah, starting with the Happy Hour Bar Crawl featuring costume contests, food and drink specials, and free entry into the area’s best venues on October 21st, 28th, and 31st. The festivities begin with an exclusive Happy Hour experience at numerous participating bars. You are requested to dress in your most conspicuous and festive costumes. Here, pleasure and a hangover are both guaranteed!
The Official Savannah Halloween Bar Crawl starts at 4 pm on October 28th at Stafford’s Public House, with up to $2000 up for grabs in the night’s costume contest. The amusements will continue with live local bands, DJs, tasty drinks, and terrific times.
Bonaventure Swingin’ Party
Come dressed in your Halloween best on Monday, October 30th, for the 2nd Annual Bonaventure Swingin’ Party. Admission starts at $25, and there will be a costume contest as well as entertainment by the Fabulous Equinox Orchestra.
Ghost in the Post
The American Legion Auxiliary Post Unit 135 is hosting its annual Ghost in the Post Halloween Party on October 28th from 7 until 11 pm at the American Legion Post 135. This event will be brimming with food, entertainment, boogying, raffles, costumes, and prizes!
In addition to the costume contest, there will be live band music by MAINSTREET with Barry Lee. They even have a liquor-filled wheelbarrow for everyone’s amusement! The best part is that you don’t have to be an American Legion Post 135 member to participate. However, you do have to be 21 years old!
