When people visit Hilton Head in June, they tend to compete with other tourists. There are longer lines at restaurants, tickets for special events are harder to come by, and the bike trails are almost impossible to navigate due to the crowds. We’ve got a few local favorites to fill your vacation itinerary with to help you avoid some of the hassles all the other tourists bring with them during the summer.

Family Block Party at Nectar Bluffton

Wine & Spirit Tastings

Sometimes it’s nice to get dressed up and go have a nice glass of wine or cocktail with your friends or significant other. These tasting events are perfect for those types of nights.

CRUDO Modern Raw Bar
Come taste the duel between Bardstown Bourbon and Rabbit Hole Bourbon from 5:30pm til 8:30pm on June 4th at CRUDO Modern Raw Bar. Tickets are $85, and you’ll get to sip on 1oz pours of three different signature bourbons from both distilleries, learn facts and info about each, and enjoy two small Chef Signature dishes. Only one distillery can win, will it be your favorite?

Rollers Wine & Spirits
At Rollers Wine & Spirits, they have weekly Tasty Tuesday and Thirsty Thursday wine tastings where you can join their journey through the world of wines, one glass at a time! Each week, Rollers’ certified sommeliers select four to six new wines and some familiar favorites to indulge in an evening of swirling, sipping, and savoring. Weather permitting, you can enjoy live music on the patio, and you can also order small bites such as cheese plates to complement your tasting experience. Pricing ranges between $25-$35 per person (not including food).

Beers, Burgers, & BBQ on the Bluff

While the Beers, Burgers, & BBQ event is actually over in Bluffton at the newly renovated Oyster Factory Park, it’s less than a 15-minute drive from Hilton Head. Pre-sale tickets for general admission are $12 until June 1st, $16 from the 1st until the 13th, and $20 at the door. Bring the whole crew for a fun-filled evening of craft and international beers, food trucks serving up Burgers and BBQ, and live music performances by The Minks with special guest Individually Twisted.

Now that you know what the locals are up to in Hilton Head in June, all that’s left to do is pack for your trip. What are you waiting for? The sun and sand are waiting for you!
