Warner W. Plahs Wildflower Field

Located in the midst of a 605-acre forest preserve, you will find a field planted with a custom mix of fourteen different species of wildflowers every year. The Warner W. Plahs Wildflower Field is a part of the Sea Pines Forest Preserve and has a blanket of colorful blooms of California and Corn Poppies, Black Eyed Susans, Cornflowers, Lemon Mint, and so much more. The wildflower field sits near a beautiful lake within the preserve, so pack a picnic lunch and make a day of it!
