I scream, you scream, we all scream… FOR ICE CREAM! With summertime in full swing and temperatures soaring, the best way to cool off is with a delicious scoop (or two) of ice cream. Whether you want the old-fashioned good stuff or that new-fangled frozen yogurt or Italian ice, there’s a Hilton Head ice cream shop that’s sure to tickle your fancy!

Hilton Head Ice Cream

Hilton Head Ice Cream has been crafting delightful, homemade ice cream since 1982. Catering to diverse preferences, their award-winning ice cream flavors include classic and innovative options like Chocolate Cayenne, Cookie Monster, and Peach Pecan. They’ll even mix up one of their seasonal flavors upon request if you notify them at least 48 hours in advance!

The Ice Cream Cone

A Hilton Head Island tradition, The Ice Cream Cone has served the island and its visitors since 1971. They make their products with the highest-quality ingredients and guarantee to only serve the best ice cream on the island. Pick from one of their suggested combinations or create a combination of your own. With 78 hand-scooped flavors to choose from, you can have it made in a signature sundae, homemade waffle cone, banana split, or even an old-fashioned float! Their classic favorites and unique flavors will have you coming back for more!

The Frozen Moo

The Frozen Moo offers the largest variety of ice cream flavors on the island, featuring 92 flavors of super-premium ice cream. Whether you prefer super-premium ice cream, kids’ flavors, low-fat yogurts, sorbets, ices, or no-sugar-added ice creams, you’ll find a wide selection here. The ice cream is made using a special pasteurization and homogenization process to ensure the highest quality. They use fresh, raw milk and cream processed on-site to make the ice cream. By freezing the ice cream only once, it preserves the natural quality without over-processing. This all-natural process ensures that the ice cream is made the way it’s meant to be.

Salty Dog Ice Cream Factory

Located in South Beach near the Salty Dog Cafe and Land’s End Tavern, you’ll find the Salty Dog Ice Cream Factory. Here, their beloved Jackie works hard to cook up fun, new, seasonal flavors unique to the Salty Dog. All of their flavors are homemade, from the chocolate and vanilla to the cotton candy and key lime pie. Every order starts with a bowl, cake cone, or waffle cone, and then you can customize it to your heart’s content. They also have non-dairy sorbet options and a root beer float!

Kilwin’s

Kilwin’s has a wide selection of ice cream, boxed chocolates, hand-paddled fudge, caramels, and other sweet treats. You can find Kilwin’s at the Shelter Cove Towne Centre on Hilton Head Island, opposite Wayback Burgers and Francescas. It’s best to plan your visit before 7pm to avoid the long lines, but they do their best to keep it moving!

Cinnamon Bear Country Store

For more than 25 years, The Cinnamon Bear Country Store has been dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for its visitors. Each of their establishments is celebrated for its diverse selection of locally sourced gifts, gourmet edibles, kids’ playthings, and clothing, as well as our delectable, indulgent servings of ice cream and frozen yogurt. Indulge in a delightful treat from The Cinnamon Bear or grab a refreshing bottle of water when you’re taking a breather from your explorations!
